The selection of the Awardees will be depending on the business journey of the entrepreneurs or enterprises for a tenure of 3 to 5 years to appreciate their efforts, contribution for continuity and further business growth. This recognition will also motivate other entrepreneurs and enterprises to follow the success path to survive and grow in their respective fields.
Maharashtra Industry Development Association (MIDA) & SME Chamber of India have taken initiatives to recognize and felicitate entrepreneurs and enterprises to brand their contributions and remarkable achievements with the support of Federation of Indian SME Associations, Packaging Industries Association of India, SME Export Promotion Council, Start-ups Council of India, Women Entrepreneurs Development Council, India International Trade Centre and Pride of India Foundation.

MIDA has been regularly providing support to the industries to explore emerging business opportunities in India and abroad, export promotion, marketing & branding, identifying partners for the joint ventures, contract manufacturing tie-ups, collaborations and channelising finance and investment opportunities in the private sector as well as taking up various issues & grievances with the appropriate Government authorities.
SME Chamber of India is a leading organisation, providing support and assistance for the last 32 years to SMEs, manufacturing industries, exporters, service sector, mid-corporates, start-ups and allied industrial & businesses for business growth, export promotion, supply & procurement, channelizing finance & investment, import facilitation, setting up new manufacturing industries, joint ventures, technology transfers, collaborations, contract manufacturing, marketing, promotion, franchise, distribution, Government services and liaison and identifying business partners for mergers & acquisitions, advanced & patented technologies as well as services to supply to corporates, MNCs, Government agencies, potential buyers, importers, manufactures, suppliers and exporters. Both the organisations have been working under the dynamic & indomitable leadership of Founder & President, Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, who has taken initiatives & efforts for enhancement of manufacturing and business activities, export promotion, setting up SME industrial parks, advocacy for setting up the SME Stock Exchange, TReDs platform, change of definitions of MSME sector to improve their credibility, regularly pursuing with the Financial Institutions to enhance the credit flow towards SMEs and manufacturing industries as well as constantly reviewing & improvising various schemes and policies to secure the interest of SMEs, manufacturing & export sectors.
